Hans Rackwitz, DJ8FF - Silent Key

The ARDF Office of DARC is sad about the death of Hans Rackwitz, DJ8FF, who dies on April 18th, 2003.
Hans was wellknown as a competitor at Region 1 and World Championships in the seventies. Later he was active as trainer of the DARC ARDF Team and as a coach of the team at several Region 1 and World Championships.
His experience played a decisive role in the development of ARDF in Germany

Paul Rudolf, HB9IR - Silent Key

From Switzerland we received the sad news that Paul Rudolf, HB9IR, is dead.
Paul died on March 15th in the age of 82.
Paul was wellkown as competitor, trainer of the Swiss ARDF Team and a leading member of the organizing committee of the ARDF World Championsihps 1988 in Beatenberg/Switzerland.
Paul was the engine of Swiss ARDF for a long period and was sucessfull in envolving nearly his hole family in ARDF.
With Paul, HB9IR, we lost a reliable collegue and a friend.
Our thoughts are with his wife Alice, HB9BIR, and the whole Rudolf family.

Rules for Championships in ARDF

The new Rules for Championships in ARDF passed the 23rd Plenary Meeting of the IARU Region 1 ARDF Working Group and was confirmed by the Final Plenary of the IARU Region 1 General Conference 2002 in San Marino.
These Rules for Championships in ARDF are now valid for all IARU Region 1 International ARDF Competitions.
