Rules Part B as of January 1, 2012
2011-12-24 - In the documents section of our web page, you now find the new version of the ARDF Rules, Part B. Most prominent addition are rules for international championships in foxoring.
13th IARU Region 1 Youth ARDF Championships 2012
2011-11-14 - The Lithuanian Amateur Radio Society has the pleasure to invite all IARU Member Societies to participate in the 13th IARU Region 1 (European) Youth ARDF Championships to be held in 2012 in Lithuania.

16th IARU World ARDF Championship 2012
September 10 - 16, 2012
Venue: Kopaonik, Serbia

The following competitons will take place at the 16th World ARDF Championships:
- ARDF Competition 3.5/144 Mhz
- Sprint competition
- Foxoring competition
- Competition for blind competitors

Region 1 Championships 2011, Baile Felix, Romania
2011-09-09 - The 18th IARU Region 1 ARDF Championships, organized by Romanian Amateur Radio Federation (F.R.R.), were attended by 261 competitors. 50 years after the first European championships, the 2011 championships introduced the new sprint format, which was very well received: 240 competitors went out on the course with 10 transmitters, and the winners came in with runtimes as low as 13 to 15 minutes.

EYAC 2011, Primorsko
2011-06-16 - The 2011 IARU Region 1 Youth ARDF Championships is open! More than 100 boys and girls came to Primorsko, Bulgaria, to select their champions.
Happy New Year: ARDF Rules and Minutes released
2010-12-31 - Finally, the ARDF Rules (Part B, with the changes approved by the ARDF WG in 2010) and the Minutes of the ARDF WG meeting in Opatija were released and distributed to the WG members.
Changes to the Rules
2010-09-23 - The IARU Region 1 ARDF Working Group held its annual formal meeting in Opatija. There are a few interesting changes to the rules:
- GPS devices are explicitly allowed unless they contain digital maps or long range communication features.
- For youth championships, categories are now W/M14 and W/M16. Societies may enter teams of up to five competitors in each of those categories.
15th World ARDF Championships 2010
2010-09-21 - 383 Competitors from 33 countries participated in the 15th World ARDF Championships, which where held in Opatija, Croatia, 13 - 18 September 2010. For the first time, medals were awarded in the W60 and M70 categories. Additionally, there was a championship in ARDF for blind people.

2010-06-21 - 66 boys and girls came to to the 11th Youth ARDF Championships of IARU Region 1.

New Revision of ARDF Rules part B
2009-11-23 - We are glad to announce the release of the new revision of the Rules for Championships in ARDF, part B (Competition), as approved by the Working Group meeting in Obzor, Bulgaria. From 2010, we will see two new categories (W60, M70), and the siting referee has more options in course planning. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
